“La pandemia sta accelerando e chiaramente non abbiamo raggiunto il picco. Ci sono volute 12 settimane perché il mondo raggiungesse 400.000 casi di Covid-19. Ma ora, solo durante l’ultimo fine settimana, ci sono stati più di 400.000 casi in tutto il mondo. In tutto contiamo 11,4 milioni di casi e oltre 535.000 vite perse”. Così il direttore generale dell’Organizzazione mondiale della sanità, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, nella conferenza stampa tenuta il 7 luglio a Ginevra.
